The situation
Poole & Schmidt have practiced in Greenville for over twenty-five years. Their clients trust them, and referrals keep them busy. But their website was a relic: a Flash intro with a loading bar, gold glowing text, and a block of disclaimers that read like a warning label. On a phone, most visitors saw nothing at all.
The approach
People looking for a lawyer are usually scared, stressed, or grieving. They don’t want to be impressed. They want to feel safe, understood, and sure of the next step. So the new site is quiet and confident: dark, spacious, and focused on one clear action, a free consultation.
The copy drops the tough-guy tone. It speaks to how clients actually feel, then tells them exactly what happens when they call.
What it’s built to do
This is a concept redesign, so I’m not inventing numbers. It’s built to make a nervous first-time visitor feel comfortable picking up the phone, to explain each practice area without legalese, and to match the firm’s real reputation for calm, steady counsel.
